The high temperature and humidity generated by the drying machine in ship's laundry and drying room have adverse effects on the indoor environment,so it is necessary to exhaust the high temperature and humidity gases to the outside when designing the ventilation system.Based on this,some common types of drying machine and their working principles are classified and introduced in combination with the design specifications,common forms and configurations of the ventilation systems in ship laundry and drying rooms,and effective universal design schemes are proposed from the perspective of engineering practice,such as using the residual pressure of drying machines for direct ventilation,setting a separate mechanical ventilation for drying machines,and integrating the exhaust of drying machine with that of the laundry room,etc.These solutions can be referenced in a targeted manner when designing the ventilation system for ship laundry and drying room.
