When using the equivalent design wave method for fatigue assessment of ore carriers,probability coefficients are usually introduced to convert the strength assessment loads(including hull beam loads,motion,and acceleration)into fatigue assessment loads.The hydrodynamic calculation software based on three-dimensional potential flow theory is used to predict the extreme values of the required loads for strength and fatigue assessment of four ultra large ore carriers under different loading conditions,and the directly calculated values of the load probability coefficients are obtained through transformation.Regression analysis on the directly calculated values and fit standardized formulas for the probability coefficients of each load are performed.The practical application results show that the standard formula is relatively ideal and has certain engineering application value.
