Wasteland Reclamation in Xinjiang in Qing Dynasty in the Pattern of Chinese Pluralistic Integration
Qing Dynasty is an important period in the formation and development of multiethnic co-settle-ment structure in Xinjiang ,and is also an important period for different ethnic groups in Xinjiang to in-tegrate into the Chinese nation .In this process ,wasteland reclamation is the most important driving forces .After literature investigation and study ,this article examines the migration process and distribu-tions of different ethnic groups ,and presents the exchange and fusion process in economic ,social and cul-tural spheres of different ethnic groups .Furthermore ,this article explores the roles that wasteland recla-mation in Qing Dynasty had played in the formation process of multi-nations structure in Xinjiang .At last ,this article expounds how wasteland reclamation in Qing Dynasty allows different ethnic groups in Xinjiang to integrate into the Chinese nation .
