Centering on"Human Beings":the Common Interest of Marxist Philosophy and Confucianism
The philosophical implication of Marx's philosophy established through his critique of Hegel's philosophy, which focuses on human beings and their present life,is consistent with Confucianism since the time of Confucius. Both Marxist philosophy and Confucianism define the existence of human beings in terms of social relations, and attribute philosophy to human beings themselves in terms of their free and comprehensive development and the cultivation of perfect personalities. The above commonality between them is the natural manifestation of the speculative nature of Marx's philosophy and the inclusive nature of Confucianism, which establishes the philosophical foundation for the sinicization of Marxist theory and the modernization of Chinese traditional culture in the new era,and moreover, confirms the legal basis for the practical implementation of the"people-centered"Chinese modernization.
