Based on the panel data of agricultural and rural development of 31 provinces and cities in China from 2011 to 2022,the entropy method was used to comprehensively evaluate the high-quality development level of agricultural and rural areas in China,and the obstacle degree model was used to explore its constraints.The results show that from 2011 to 2022,China's agricultural and rural high-quality development level continues to rise,and the overall development trend is"high in the east and low in the west",and the development of scientific and technological innovation and output quality and efficiency improvement have an obvious pulling effect on it.The constraints on the high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas are as follows:green ecological development and structural optimization layout are the smallest,output quality and efficiency improvement and scientific and technological innovation and development are the largest,and coordination and sharing development is small.The main constraints are the quality and efficiency of agricultural production,the level of science and technology informatization,human capital factors and public service level.
