数字经济对低龄老年人就业的影响研究

摘要
在人口老龄化程度不断加深的背景下,开发老年劳动力资源可以为缓解我国劳动力短缺提供新的途径.该文基于2018年中国健康与养老追踪调查(CHARLS)数据,以数字经济为切入点,采用Probit模型,系统考察了数字经济对低龄老年人就业的影响及其作用机制.研究发现,数字经济发展显著提升了低龄老年人就业参与的概率.居住在数字经济水平高、人口老龄化程度高地区的低龄老年人受数字经济影响更为显著.数字经济对男性、低学历、低养老金收入的低龄老年人群体的就业参与促进作用较为明显.数字经济主要通过自我认知、互联网使用、以及创新创业效应三个渠道促进低龄老年人就业参与.
Abstract
In the context of the deepening aging population,the development of elderly labor resources provides a new way to alleviate labor shortages in China.This article is based on the data from 2018 China Health and Elderly Care Tracking Survey(CHARLS),taking the digital economy and using the Probit model to systematically examine the impact and mechanism of the digital economy on the employment of younger elderly.Research has found that the development of the digital economy has significantly increased the probability of employment participation among younger elderly.The impact of the digital economy on younger elderly living in areas with high levels of digital economy and population aging is more significant.The digital economy has a significant boost on the employment of younger elderly with low education and pension income.The digital economy mainly promotes employment participation of younger elderly through three channels:self-awareness,internet use,and innovation and entrepreneurship effects.
