Observation of the efficacy of acupuncture combined with venlafaxine in the treatment of postpartum depressive disorder and its effect on sex hormone levels,HAMD and SF-36 scores
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of the Xingnao-Kaiqiao acupuncture method combined with venlafaxine in the treatment of postpartum depression(PPD)and its effect on the scores of sex hormone level,Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)and MOS 36-item short-form health survey(SF-36)scores.Method Seventy PPD patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group according to the 1:1 simple random number table method,with 35 patients in each group.In the control group,venlafaxine capsule was administered orally,while in the observation group,the Xingnao-Kaiqiao acupuncture method was used in addition.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared,and the serum indexes[estradiol(E2),progesterone(P),prolactin(PRL),5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)and orphan FQ(OFQ)],HAMD and SF-36 scores were observed before and after treatment,and the occurrence of adverse reactions during the treatment period were recorded.Result The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the serum P level of both groups was lower than that before treatment(P＜0.05),and that of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05);the serum E2 and PRL levels of both groups were higher than that before treatment(P＜0.05),and those of the observation group was higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the serum 5-HT level was higher than that before treatment(P＜0.05),and that of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05);the serum OFQ level of both groups was lower than that before treatment(P＜0.05),and that of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the HAMD scores of both groups were lower than before treatment(P＜0.05),and those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05);the SF-36 scores of both groups were higher than before treatment(P＜0.05),and those of the observation group was higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Xingnao-Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with venlafaxine treatment of PPD,can improve the patient's sex hormone,neurotransmitter levels,the symptoms of depression and the quality of life.
