Objective:To analyze the research status of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in fibromyalgia syndrome(FMS),summarize the research process and development trend,and establish the visual map of the status quo of TCM research on FMS.Methods:CNKI,Wanfang and VIP were used as data sources to search literature.Then,CiteSpace was used to conduct co-occurrence analysis on authors,research institutions and keywords.Results:A total of 232 articles were included,and annual number of publications showed a fluctuating upward trend,and the researchers were concentrated in major TCM universities and their affiliated hospitals.High-frequency keywords included acupuncture,curative effect,massage,clinical observation,pain,etiology.Research hotspots focused on discussion on treatment experience and medical cases,single syndrome diagnosis and treatment,and TCM treatment mechanism exploration,etc.Conclusion:Current research hotspots are TCM treatment methods with high-level evidence-based medical evidence and the characteristics of TCM syndromes on FMS.The study of related pathological mechanisms is still in its infancy.
