Application of experimental animal models in study of treating cancer with acupuncture and moxibustion
Cancer is one of the malignant diseases that currently threatens,human health and quality of life.The animal models are mostly used in preclinical studies in order to better explore the occurrence and development process of cancer.As an important therapeutic method in traditional Chinese medicine,acupuncture and moxibustion has been applied in the treatment of cancer and its complications,and has good efficacy.Animal models are also indispensable in related study of acupuncture and moxibustion for cancer.The construction of appropriate animal models according to the needs has a direct impact on the results of the study.Based on above,this paper summarizes the selection and requirements of experimental animals,the construction methods of cancer animal models,and the application of different cancer animal models in the study of acupuncture and moxibustion,in order to provide a reference for the study of cancer treatment with acupuncture and moxibustion.
