The adherence to a people-centered approach is not only the fundamental stance in upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics, but also the underlying principle governing the Party and country's affairs. For over a century, the Communist Party of China has consistently adhered to the normative order of"people-centered"and continuously forged new paths in revolution, construction, and reform.During both the national revolution and democratic revolution periods,"people-centered"served as both a political commitment to the Chinese people by the Communist Party of China and a norm for implementation.Following the establishment of modern China through constitutional structures such as the Common Program and 1954 Constitution after 1949,"people-centered"became an essential requirement for daily politics. In light of implementing comprehensive law-based governance in this new era,"people-centered"has evolved into a principled framework guiding all aspects of democracy promotion by the Communist Party of China while remaining committed to self-revolution-embodying its original intention and essence towards achieving Chinese-style modernization and standardizing future historical trends in China.
