Abstract
Recent years, culture has played an important role in English language teaching. This paper begins with the discussion on the importance of intercultural communicative competence, the impact of culture factor on intercultural communication, and takes the combination of the Bible culture and English teaching for example, to illustrate the necessity of cultural penetration in English language teaching and some suggestions are recommended.
