With the rapid evolution of profound changes unseen in a century,the world has entered a new period of turbulence and transformation.The existing global governance system is not representative and inclusive enough;there are more and more unfair,unrea-sonable,and inappropriate areas;and the deficit of global governance has become more prominent,which weakens the legitimacy and effectiveness of global governance and poses profound challenges to the reform of the current global governance system.China's call to make global governance more just and equitable not only conforms to the common aspira-tions of people around the world and points the way forward for global governance,but also serves as an important task in promoting major country diplomacy with Chinese characteris-tics,demonstrating the image of a confident,self-reliant,open,and inclusive major country with a global vision.To promote a just and equitable global governance,we must uphold the sovereign equality of all countries,safeguard the authority and status of the United Nations,advocate and practice true multilateralism,promote balanced and inclusive global development,and respect diverse civilizations and development differences.As an active participant,important contributor and trailblazer in some fields of global governance,China follows the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind to provide valuable guidance for a just and equitable development of global governance,firmly pursues true multilateralism to build synergy for a just and equitable development of global governance,actively facilitates the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative to set a successful example for a just and equitable development of global govern-ance,steadily advances Chinese path to modernization to lay a solid national foundation for a just and equitable development of global governance,and fully demonstrates its important responsibility as a responsible major country.
