随着香港产业与社会的发展,自1864 年首次提供职业专才教育以来,香港的职业专才教育经历了四个发展阶段.在贡献人力资源、降低青年失业率、作出显著经济贡献、产生积极的社会影响方面助力香港发展.面对人工智能背景下的产业转型对职业专才教育提出的新要求,香港可进一步明晰职业专才教育的发展策略和方向,加强政府对职业专才教育的政策和财政支持,将应用学位正规化,并正式建立政府资助的应用科技大学,发展和推广终身学习的文化,加强与内地和粤港澳大湾区其他城市的合作等方面,促进职业专才教育的发展.
The Development and Prospect of Vocational and Professional Education and Training in Hong Kong
With the development of industry and society in Hong Kong,the vocational and professional education and training(VPET)has gone through four stages of development since it was first introduced in 1864.VPET contributes to the development of Hong Kong in terms of producing significant human resources,reducing the youth unemployment rate,and making positive economic contributions and social impacts in Hong Kong.The industry transformation due to the introduction of Artificial Intelligence has brought new requirements to VPET,Hong Kong could further specify the development strategy and direction of VPET,strengthen policy and financial support,formalize the applied degree,establish publicy funded universities of applied sciences,cultivate the lifelong learning culture,and strengthen the cooperation between Hong Kong and the Mainland,as well as the other cities in the Greater Bay Area to further promote VPET in Hong Kong.
