Abstract

Countries along the Belt and Road have uneven development in the cultivation of scientific literacy, the formulation of policies and standards, the construction of curricula, the off-campus development and the application of new technologies. In the process of promoting the development of science education, countries along the Belt and Road are faced with challenges such as inadequate policy support, lack of infrastructure, insufficient curriculum resources, uneven teacher quality, and limited scope of student development. The main strategies to promote the shared development of science education involve establishing a coordination mechanism and optimizing resource allocation.Additionally, promoting the digitization of education and open educational resources are important ways to address the uneven development of science education, and establishing an evaluation system is an important tool to promote the development of science education. It is suggested to promote the development of science education in the countries along the Belt and Road in the above three aspects.
