摘要
STEM教育是提升国家科技竞争力、培养创新人才、提高国民科学素养的重要基础.联合国教科文组织作为思想实验室、准则制定者、信息交流中心、成员国能力建设者和国际合作促进者,在推动STEM教育方面发挥着关键作用.联合国教科文组织创新STEM教育理念与标准,为实践提供遵循;传播STEM教育创新举措,为实践者提供课程资源;促进各国制定STEM教育政策,提升STEM教育能力;搭建全球合作交流网络,激励青年投身STEM教育事业.联合国教科文组织的STEM理念和实践研究有助于我国推进STEM教育治理和拔尖创新人才培养.
Abstract
STEM education is an important foundation for enhancing national scientific and technological competitiveness,cultivating innovative talents,and improving national scientific literacy.The United Nations Educational,Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO)plays a crucial role in promoting STEM education as a think laboratory,guideline setter,information exchange center,member state capacity builder,and international cooperation facilitator.UNESCO's innovative STEM education philosophy and standards provide guidance for practice.It spreads STEM education innovation initiatives,provides curriculum resources for practitioners,promotes countries to formulate STEM education policies and enhances their STEM education capabilities,builds a global cooperation and exchange network to inspire young people to engage in STEM education.Research on UNESCO's STEM concept and practice helps China to promote STEM education governance and the cultivation of top innovative talents.
