The Characteristics and Reform Paths of Humanities and Social Sciences Academic Evaluation in East Asian Colleges and Universities in the New Era:Based on the Examples of China,Japan,and South Korea
Colleges and universities in East Asian countries,including those in China,Japan,and South Korea,face"three pairs of tensions"in the evaluation of humanities and social sciences:the tension between"internationalization"and"localization",the tension between"standardization"and"diversification",as well as the tension between"traditional humanities"and"innovative humanities".Through research methods such as literature review,comparative research and case studies,this article explains the positioning,characteristics,and development trends of academic evaluation in humanities and social sciences,putting forward thoughts and suggestions on the reform path of academic evaluation in humanities and social sciences in East Asian colleges and universities in the new era:transitioning from transplanted model to an evaluation system with self-awareness and international view;moving from a singular and standardized evaluation system to a diversified and distinctive evaluation system;evolving from the evaluation system of"traditional humanities and social sciences"to the evaluation system of"new humanities and social sciences".
