HPLC Fingerprint of Total Phenol in Phyllanthus urinaria L.from Different Habitats Based on Cluster Analysis Coupled with Principle Component Analysis
In this study,HPLC fingerprint of total phenol in Phyllanthus urinaria L.from different habitats was investigated based on the cluster analysis coupled with principle component analysis.HPLC was used in the determination of total phenol in P.urinaria L.from 9 different habitats. The main components were identified with the similarity analysis, cluster analysis, principal component analysis and HPLC-MS.The results showed that there were 7 common peaks in the fingerprint of total phenol in P.urinaria L.There were 5 identified common peaks. The similarity of total phenol in P.urinaria L.from 9 different habitats was between 0.972-0.998.The cluster analysis and principal component analysis showed the similarities and differences of chemical components among 9 batches of samples. It was concluded that on the basis of fingerprint data, the cluster analysis coupled with principle component analysis can provide evidences for the identification and further utilization of P.urinaria L.resource.
