This paper explores the history and characteristics of reception and delivery of migrants/refugees in Africa, with an emphasis on the settlement of migrants in Africa, the forced displacement of refugees, the distribution of African diaspora, and their relevance to the Pan-African Movement,as well as to Global Africa. While the academic community and media focus on African diaspora-people of African descent living outside the African continent, two facts cannot be ignored.First, whites predominate among the multiracial migrants who settled in Africa.Second, refugees have become a pain point for African emigrants, and most of them have fled and settled in the African continent, especially in neighboring countries. The Pan-African Movement initiated by African diaspora played an important role in the independence of African countries after World War Ⅱ.They have timely put forward the concept of"Global Africa"and actively helped Africa's development and construction.Migration has had a series of impacts on nation-states and the existing world order. There is not much discussion about African migration in Chinese academic circles, and more solid and in-depth research on the subject is badly needed.
