A new Chinese record species of Nygmia,Nygmia ganesa Kishida,2020,was identified during collating the specimens of Lymantriinae in Linzhi,Xizang.The morphology and genital characteristics of Nygmia ganesa adult were described in detail,as well as clear images of the adult and its external genitalia,collection sites,and distribution at home and abroad were provided.The research specimens are deposited in the Institute of Plateau Ecology,Xizang Agricultural and Animal Husbandry University.
