Yield and Nutritional Quality of Alfalfa and Ryegrass in Different Sowing Ratios in Tumushuk City
Alfalfa and ryegrass are high quality forage grasses. In order to explore the optimal mixed planting ratio of alfalfa and ryegrass in Tumushuk City, five mixed sowing ratios M5+H5(5∶5),M4+H6(4∶6),M3+H7(3∶7),M6+H4(6∶4)and M7+H3(7∶3)were set for alfalfa and ryegrass, the yield, dry matter, crude protein, neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fiber and relative feeding value of forage grass were studied. The results showed that there were significant differences in forage grass yield and nutritional quality among the mixed sowing treatments(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between forage grass yield and the proportion of ryegrass in the mixed sowing system. There was a positive correlation between forage grass nutritional quality and the proportion of alfalfa in the mixed sowing system. In conclusion,M4+H6(9.00 kg·hm-2 alfalfa and 36.00 kg·hm-2 ryegrass)had the best forage grass yield and nutritional quality between the alfalfa and ryegrass mixed sowing treatments.
