Effects of Different Processing Methods on Estrus Synchronization and Reproductive Performance of Hainan Black Goats
To explore the effects of different treatment methods on the estrus synchronization and reproductive performance of Hainan black goats.A total of 120 Hainan black goats(30-50 kg)were randomly selected from a large-scale sheep farm of Hainan Province, and they were divided into three different treatment methods:two injections of PG method,CIDR+PMSG dual method, and CIDR+PMSG+PG triple method. After the induction of estrus experiment, the estrus and reproductive performance of the three groups of sheep were observed. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the synchronous estrus rate among the three experimental groups of sheep, and the synchronous estrus rate of Hainan black goats in experimental group C was significantly higher than that of experimental group A and experimental group B(P<0.05);the estrus time of ewes in experimental group A was mainly concentrated during 48-72 hours, while the estrus time of ewes in experimental groups B and C was mainly concentrated during 24-48 hours;the conception rate and lambing rate of experimental group C ewes were significantly higher than those of experimental group A and experimental group B(P<0.05);after delivery, there was no significant difference(P>0.05)in the average birth weight of lambs born to the three experimental ewes. The results showed that the application of CIDR+PMSG+PG triple treatment method could significantly improve the synchronous estrus and reproductive performance of Hainan black goats, which will provide a reference basis for improving the synchronous estrus and reproductive performance of Hainan black goats in the future.
