Research progress and prospect of cross-border water resources research from the perspective of a community with a shared future for mankind
The issue of cross-border water resources has become an important issue in the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.Based on the visualization analysis software CiteSpace, this paper selects literatures related to cross-border water resources in CNKI from 2013 to 2022 and analyzes the research progress and frontier trends of cross-border water resources from both the overall and specific international rivers. The results showed that:After the proposal of a community with a shared future for mankind, the cross-border water resources research experienced two stages of relatively stable and rapid growth. The core authors of cross-border water resources research are mainly Xu Zongxue,Chen Xiaohong,He Daming,Zhou Haiwei, etc.,and some team cooperation has been formed among these scholars.Business School of Hohai University,University of Chinese Academy of Sciences,State Key Laboratory of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Science of Wuhan University are the main research institutions of cross-border water resources, but there is less cooperation among these research institutions. The perspectives of cross-border water resources research are diversified, among which international water law, water diplomacy, water security and water interests are the research hotspots, and the Lancang River Basin and the Pearl River Basin are the research hotspots. The latest progress in cross-border water resources research is mainly reflected in basin community construction.Specific studies have proposed the construction of a Lancang-Mekong basin water security community.Future research hotspots of cross-border water resources are likely to be the construction of community of interests and ecological community, the coping mechanism and compensation mechanism of cross-border water conflicts, and the combination of geo-economic politics and food security.
