Research Progress on Sample Collection and Analytical Methods of Microplastics in Atmosphere
The microplastics in the atmosphere, due to their minuscule size, low density, high stability, strong adsorption capacity, and complex surface structure, have been widely distributed globally. These characteristics make the impact of microplastics on the ecological environment extremely broad. In this paper, the source, classification and occurrence characteristics of AMPs were introduced, and the sample collection, sample pretreatment and analysis methods were reviewed. The collection method of AMPs includes active sampling and passive sampling, the main processing of pretreatment mainly include concentration, dissolution and separation, and the main analysis methods include visual method, stereomicroscope, scanning electron microscope,Fourier transform spectroscopy,Raman spectroscopy, and pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. This paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of various methods and their applicable scope, and points out that it is urgent to innovative traceability method in future research.
