Study on Rheological Properties of Warm Mix Waste Plastic/SBS Composite Modified Asphalt
In order to study the effect of warm mixture on the rheological properties of waste plastic/styrene-butadiene-styrene triblock copolymer(SBS)composite modified asphalt,BMH warm mixture with different mass fraction(1.0%,1.2%and 1.4%)was added into asphalt. The effects of BMH on the rheological properties of waste plastic/SBS composite modified asphalt were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),dynamic shear rheology(DSR),multi-stress creep recovery test(MSCR)and low temperature bending beam rheological test(BBR).The results show that BMH can significantly improve the high temperature deformation resistance and reduce the stress sensitivity of waste plastic/SBS composite modified asphalt, and when the warm mixture mass fraction is 1.2%,the improvement effect is the best, and the improvement effect of 1.4%mass fraction does not increase but decreases.BMH can improve the medium temperature fatigue resistance of waste plastic/SBS composite modified asphalt, the improvement effect of 1.2%content is the most obvious, and the improvement effect of other content is similar.BMH can improve the low-temperature rheological properties of waste plastic/SBS composite modified asphalt, the asphalt stress relaxation capacity is the best when the mass fraction is 1.4%,and the low-temperature cracking resistance is the best.
