Spatio Temporal Evolution of Regional Economic Difference in Shaanxi Province---Based on Thiel Index Analysis
Shaanxi province is divided into three regions: northern part,central part and southern part. Changes of regional economic difference in 2007—2013 in Shaanxi Province are studied with absolute difference, relative difference and Thiel index. The results show that regional economic differences expand year after year in three parts of Shaanxi Province. Internal difference is faster than regional difference; the internal contribution rate is much higher than the regional contribution rate ,the regional economic difference proves the main factor is central part of Province.At last,countermeasures are proposed for promoting the coordinated development of regional economy of the three parts of Shaanxi,such as leaping forward development in Northern Shaanxi, the leading development in central Shaanxi, and the breakthrough development in southern Shaanxi.
