基于快速以太网的可见光通信系统设计与实现

为了突破当前可见光通信(VLC)设备设计和成本方面的瓶颈,以推动VLC更广泛的普及和应用.提出并实现了一种将快速以太网与VLC相结合的方案,通过直接利用RJ45 端口输出的MLT-3 信号对可见光进行调制.鉴于LED调制带宽的限制,采用均衡技术拓展发射器的带宽.结果表明,在 2m和 0.2 m的传输距离上实现了平均 94 Mbps的稳定实时传输.本方案克服了VLC复杂性和高成本的问题,有望推动可见光通信技术在无线通信领域的广泛应用.
The Cost-efficient Implementation of the Fast Ethernet-based VLC System
In order to overcome the current bottlenecks in Visible Light Communication(VLC)device design and cost,and to promote a more widespread adoption and application of VLC,a solution that combines high-speed Ethernet is proposed and implemented with VLC.The approach involves modulating visible light using the MLT-3 signal directly output from the RJ45 port.Due to the bandwidth limitations of LED modulation,equalization techniques are employed here to expand the transmitter's bandwidth.The results indicate a stable real-time transmission averaging 94 Mbps at distances of 2 m and 0.2 m.This solution addresses the complexities and high costs associated with VLC,offering the potential to drive the widespread application of visible light communication technology in the field of wireless communication.
