A Study on Vertical Bearing Capacity of Bridge Pile Foundations in Qinling Mountains Expressway Under Karst and Steep Slope Effect
In order to investigate the influence of karst roof thickness and steep slope on the vertical bearing capacity of pile foundations of expressway Bridges,based on a highway project in Qinling Mountains,a three-dimensional numerical simulation model was constructed.The ultimate bearing capacity of pile foundations under the interaction of single and double factors was analyzed,and an empirical formula for the calculation of ultimate bearing capacity of pile foundations in karst areas was proposed.The results showed that the roof thickness had a positive linear correlation with the bearing capacity of pile foundation,and the steep slope had a negative linear correlation with the bearing capacity of pile foundation.The interaction results of the two factors had a positive correlation with the bearing capacity of pile foundation,and the influence degree of these two factors was that the roof thickness was greater than the steep slope.
