Deconstruction and Recurrence:A Discourse of Can Xue's Short Stories
Can Xue's novels, characterized by their distinctive narrative style and profound philosophical contemplation, have not only enriched the forms of Chinese literature but also propelled its innovation and development, becoming an important representative of contemporary Chinese literature on the global stage.Drawing on deconstructionist philosophy, this paper deeply analyzes Can Xue's narrative strategies and their innovativeness.Through a decentralized narrative approach,Can Xue's works challenge the logic and order of traditional narratives with the fragmentation and contradictions of textual meanings.By deconstructing traditional binary oppositions, she dissolves the subjectivity of the human being, mapping the existential predicaments of individuals in the postmodern cultural context and expressing a deep compassion for human existence. While deconstructing tradition,Can Xue continuously constructs and reconstructs her own literary world, forming a unique"circular repetition"narrative pattern.Through the cycle of departure and return, she constructs a new narrative paradigm, which holds unique value and significance in contemporary literature.
