A Study on Preparation of Mine Filling Materials from Vanadium Tailings
In order to solve the problem of massive accumulation of vanadium tailings, vanadium tailings are used as the main raw material, fly ash as the auxiliary raw material, portland cement as the gelling agent, and sodium sulfate as the activator to prepare mine filling materials. The influence of factors such as the amount of cement, the amount of fly ash,the content of sodium sulfate, the slurry concentration and cure time on the sample performance is studied. The results show that when the vanadium tailings∶fly ash∶cement=60∶10∶30,the content of Na2SO4 is 0.6%,and the slurry concentration is 76%,the compressive strength of the sample after curing for 28 days can reach 12.2 MPa,and the compressive strength of the product can meet the demand of mining enterprises for high-strength filling materials(≥12 MPa).The research results provide reference for the resource utilization of vanadium tailings.
