This study addresses the deficiencies in the current flood control system and layout of the Beijiang River Basin,specifically in response to the"22·6"catastrophic flood.Through a comprehensive analysis,including an assessment of the existing flood control system and layout,hydrological calculations,and evaluations of key reservoirs and water conservancy projects,the paper advocates for a flood management approach centered on"prevention,management,and control."It proposes a multifunctional,resilient,and integrated flood control system with elements of"regulation and storage,blocking,storage,flood diversion,and smooth drainage."Aligned with the principles of modern water network construction,the study suggests specific engineering and non-engineering measures to optimize and enhance the flood control system and layout in the Beijiang River Basin.
