为满足高校师生VR图书虚拟借阅和VR期刊报纸阅读的需求,主要使用Unity 3D、Visual Studio、Maya、Photoshop等软件和Steam VR插件,以某高校图书馆的自助借阅书库和阅览室为原型,设计与实现了一种图书馆VR虚拟空间,它主要包括VR自助借阅书库和VR阅览室.在VR实训室进行的实验测试结果表明,设计制作的图书馆VR自助借阅书库和VR阅览室具备流畅的交互式漫游功能,虚拟借书和阅读体感较逼真.能够激发师生自助借阅读书的兴趣,拓展图书馆服务空间,提升图书馆服务效能,具有一定的娱乐性和适用性.
Design and implementation of a library VR virtual space based on Unity 3D
In order to meet the needs of college teachers and students for borrowing virtual VR books and reading VR periodicals and newspapers,this paper mainly use Unity 3D,Visual Studio,Maya,Photoshop software and Steam VR plug-ins,taking the self-service library and reading room of a university library as the prototype,a VR virtual space of a library is designed and realized,which mainly includes VR self-service library and VR reading room.The experimental test results in the VR training room show that the VR self-service library and VR reading room designed have smooth interactive roaming function,and the virtual borrowing and reading sense is more realistic.This technology can stimulate the interest of teachers and students in self-help borrowing and reading,expand the library service space,improve the library service efficiency,and it has a certain entertainment and applicability.
