The Construction and Implementation Path of the New Liberal Arts Mathematics Curriculum System
In the perspective of new liberal arts construction and talent cultivation,the key to cultivat-ing excellent liberal arts talents required for a new society lies in the cross integration between different dis-ciplines,and the cross integration of mathematics and liberal arts is particularly important.With the devel-opment of society,the requirements for students'mathematical abilities in liberal arts majors are constantly increasing.The original liberal arts mathematics curriculum can no longer meet the needs of the construc-tion of new liberal arts majors and talent cultivation in terms of teaching objectives,teaching content,and teaching modes.The new liberal arts mathematics curriculum system should establish new goals in a bal-ance of integration and standardization,and deeply explore the value of mathematics in the construction of the new liberal arts.Update or reconstruct the content,keep up with the pace of digital education transfor-mation in teaching mode,attach importance to the application of mathematical technology,build a universi-ty mathematics curriculum system that adapts to the requirements of new liberal arts construction and devel-opment,and leverage the positive role of high-quality mathematics courses and textbooks in cultivating high-quality liberal arts talents.Therefore,based on an in-depth analysis of the construction basis,con-cept,structure,and curriculum of the new liberal arts mathematics curriculum system,this article explores the implementation path of the new liberal arts university mathematics curriculum system from several as-pects,including teaching objectives,curriculum content,development of new forms of liberal arts mathemat-ics textbooks,digital resource construction,assessment and evaluation models,and guarantee systems.The article has achieved good results in teaching practice at Jilin University.
