Zhang Taiyan's Philosophy of Qi Wu to the Destruction and the Establishment of Chinese Culture
Modern China was strongly invaded by Western culture, and a large number of traditional scholars highly praised the rationality, intelligence and other concepts of Western culture. However,Zhang Taiyan criticized these Western ideas with Zhuangzi's concept of Qi Wu.In Distinguishing Nature,Zhang Taiyan believes that the educated and educated are more intelligent, but they are far from their true nature and fall into a obsession with the conceptual system. This stems from Zhang Taiyan's critique of evolution and Western modernity through his philosophy of Qi Wu,and is also related to his radical revolutionary stance against the reform.According to Zhang Taiyan's philosophy of Qi Wu,both traditional academia and modern Western thought belong to the realm of the world without understanding the true essence,so they cannot be defined as"axioms".However,Chinese culture pursues the"great wisdom"of"dullness"which is closer to its true nature. Therefore,in the process of cultural selection, that is,"returning to the truth and becoming popular",traditional Chinese culture should be respected, rather than blindly pursuing Western-ization.
