Integrating Chinese Language and Moral Character:The Way and Method of Integrating Chinese Language and Moral Education in the Basic Education Stage
The Chinese Language Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)clearly require that the Chinese language curriculum should revolve around the fundamental task of cultivat-ing morality and talents,fully exerting its unique educational function.In this context,Chinese language ed-ucation with multiple functions such as mother tongue teaching,value shaping,and cultural inheritance ful-ly highlights the necessity and possibility of integrating it with moral education.Chinese language education contains rich moral education resources,and Chinese language education should make appropriate use of these resources to carry out moral education in a spring breeze and rain style.In response to the phenome-non of"emphasizing literature over morality"in current Chinese language education in classroom teaching,campus activities,and social practice,effective educational methods should be adopted to achieve"integrat-ing of literature and morality".Based on the first classroom,we should acquire Chinese knowledge,form value judgments,expand the second classroom and engage in moral practice,pay attention to the third class-room and cultivate humanistic literacy.These three ways achieve a dual improvement in students'language and moral literacy,which are cyclical and spiral upward.
