The Correlation between Carbon Emissions,Economic Growth and Energy Consumption in Henan Province
In 2022,the GDP of Henan Province accounts for 5.1%of the country, the total energy consumption ac-counts for 4.5%of the country, and the carbon emissions generated by energy consumption is about 4.7%of the country.Compared with the provinces and cities that have achieved the carbon peak, the management of carbon e-missions still needs to be strengthened. This paper uses the Tapio decoupling model to study the degree of correlation among carbon emissions, economic growth and energy consumption in Henan Province during 2000-2022.The re-sults show that there is still an unstable decoupling relationship between carbon emission, economic growth and en-ergy consumption in Henan Province.Energy consumption is still dominated by coal, and there are still high carbon emissions in economic growth, which has not yet reached the low-carbon goal.Energy consumption efficiency needs to be further improved;Industrial development is biased towards heavy industry, and the contribution rate to the e-conomy shows a downward trend. The work of emission reduction and energy conservation needs to continue to ad-vance,and targeted policy adjustments need to be made.
