Kong Shu's Theory of"Yin-Yang,Men and Women,Monarch and Ministers"and the"Virtue of Empresses"
Guanju is not only the opening chapter of Guofeng, but also the first chapter of the whole the Book of Songs and it plays a vital role in that.As the most widely circulated version, the most influential and the most extensive Mao poem, the central connotation of Guanju is interpreted as"the virtue of empresses",which is also recognized by Confucian scholars of later generations and still used today. However, the reasons for this explanation are not clear. It is worth noting that Kong Yingda mentioned in Mao Shi Zheng Yi that"yin and yangare the most important,so the things of men and women are more ordered as the theme of poetry content",while"yin and yang"is precisely a core concept of Zhouyi.Combined with the ancient Chinese thought of"harmony between man and nature",there may indeed be a causal relationship between the two.
