On the Development of Verb Aspect and Verb Types by Achievement Types
Talmy puts forward the concept of fulfillment types in realization macro-event,which is different from telicity and develops the concept of verb perfective type by construing perfective aspect from the perspective of pos-sibility of boundary fulfillment which makes the single pefective aspect"boundary fulfillmen"develop into four per-fective aspects of moor,implied,intrinsic and attained verbs.In addition,the paper discovers activity verbs are re-fined into connative class of moot and implied verbs which is brought about by the introduction of new theory and new classification standard through comparing and analyzing theoretical bases and classifying standards on which Vendler's classification of verbs in 1967 and Talmy's classification of fulfillment verbs in 2000 are based respec-tively,which will improve the development of teaching of English grammare inevitably.
