The humanistic spirit of libraries has a long history and has different connotations in different periods,but the goal is to better meet the needs of the people for knowledge and information.The humanistic spirit of Chinese libraries in the new era should not only adhere to the public spirit of library freedom,equality,and openness,but also fully reflect the inheritance and contemporary characteristics of the humanistic spirit of libraries.Therefore,the construction of humanistic spirit in Chinese libraries in the new era must be based on the characteristics and requirements of the new era,and the core principles of"adhering to the correct political direction","promoting excellent traditional culture","innovating service methods",and"putting the people at the center"should be implemented,injecting new spiritual impetus into the development of the library industry in the new era.
