Temporal and Spatial Distribution Patterns and Causes of Poetic and Prose Writers in Yunnan during the Qing Dynasty——A Case Study of the History of"Interaction,Exchange,and Integration"among Chinese Ethnic Groups
During the Qing Dynasty,Yunnan not only produced a large number of literatus,but also had Yuan Jiagu,who won the top prize in competitions with students from all over the country,which is a vivid page in the history of Yunnan's culture and academic studies.In general,the distribution of ancient poetry and prose scholars in Yunnan is characterized by both spatial diversity and imbalance.On the one hand,almost every prefecture has ancient poetry and prose scholars;on the other hand,the three major areas with the most scholars are Yunnan Prefecture,Lin'an Prefecture,and Dali Prefecture,forming the core scholar circles of Yunnan Central,Yunnan South,and Yunnan West.In terms of time,the majority of Qing Dynasty scholars of ancient poetry and prose in Yunnan are from the Qianlong,Kangxi,and Jiaqing years,showing a distribution pattern of zigzags.The spatial and temporal distribution of Qing Dynasty scholars of ancient poetry and prose in Yunnan is a cultural geographic phenomenon,but it did not happen overnight.Behind it are complex evolution mechanisms,serving as a model of internal interactions,exchanges,and integration among the Chinese nation.
