The Western Han Dynasty was the period when China's remonstrance system was gradually improved.Compared with the Qin Dynasty,Liu Bang's rule was mainly about advocating morality, and all the systems were basically in the initial stage. There was no content of praising the emperor in the remonstrance books, and most of the self-deprecating words followed the pre-Qin Dynasty, which was less self-deprecating.During the reign of Emperor Wen and Emperor Jing of Han,although other stylized articles appeared more praise and self-deprecation of the emperor, but the remonstrance book was not affected, rarely stylized representations.Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty and the later Western Han Dynasty, the self-deprecating words in the remonstrance book gradually settled.Although the final remonstration was influenced by political rights and formed some formal formulations,on the other hand, under the suppression of the absolute regime, the use of praising the emperor and self-deprecating words in the remonstration was also an important tactic for Western Han court officials to restrain the imperial power or deal with the game of the imperial power.
