As we all know,like names of people and places,there is also name taboo in Chinese medicine,which reflects the lexical phenomenon in the use and development of Chinese characters in our ancient times.Therefore,like the name taboos of Chinese people and its toponym,the name taboo of Chinese medicine mainly reflects in phonetics,semantics and characters.In terms of phonetics,there are mainly pronunciation-identical and pronunciation-similar taboos,etc.;In terms of semantics,there are mainly synonymous taboo,antonymous taboo,irrelevant taboo and so on;In terms of characters,there are mainly Chinese character lacking strokes;This paper aims to push the international promotion of the traditional Chinese medicine culture in our country by carrying out a lexical study in the taboos of names of Chinese medicine.
