At the beginning of Qin Xiangong's accession to the throne, the border regions of Qin faced varying degrees of military crisis. In order to overcome the difficulties of external development and revitalize the country,Qin actively carried out military activities on the basis of reform, focusing on capturing or suppressing strategic transportation points from Hexi to Hedong and from the south bank of the Wei River to western Henan, opening up the road from Lantian to Wuguan, and constructing a southbound military route. At the same time,by pacifying the border and defeating the Wei army north of Guanzhong, the security of the rear of Qin and the capital area was ensured.Affected by changes in the military situation,Qin ultimately established its capital in Xianyang and embarked on a strategic process of unifying the country based on Guanzhong.
