The thought of"realistic individual"is the starting point and premise of historical materialism, but it has not disappeared with the passage of history, and still shines its theoretical light in the new era.Through the method of integrating logic and history, this paper explores the origin and internal stipulation of the thought of"realistic individual",and concludes that Marx made a preliminary exploration of"realistic individual"on the basis of Epicurus's atomism, and then continued to explore the nature of human beings from the perspectives of civil society and labor, and gradually realized the transformation from"abstract individual"to"realistic individual".In addition, the"real individual"is a natural being,a person engaged in practical activities, and a person in a certain social relationship, which constitute the internal specification of the"real individual".In the new era,the concept of people-centered development, the social governance pattern of"co-construction and shared benefits"to"co-construction,co-governance and shared benefits",and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind all reflect the value of promoting human freedom and all-round development, and highlight the contemporary value of the idea of"realistic individual".
