《儒林外史》角色诗文观成因探析——兼论吴敬梓诗文观

摘要
吴敬梓在《儒林外史》中对角色进行描写时表现出赞与贬两种诗歌观,这主要是由当时的社会制度导致的,同时也是八股文对诗歌写作技巧和氛围的破坏、社会风气变化、学人沉溺传统举业以及作者个人生活投射等因素共同作用的结果.结合吴敬梓《文木山房集》诗词的特点,吴氏在《儒林外史》中展现的赞诗观和贬诗观是他违逆社会束缚和顺从社会环境而分别产生的,由吴氏诗文可窥见明清科举制度下诗文的创作环境.
Abstract
Wu Jingzi's portrayal of characters in"The Scholars"shows two poetic views:praise and criticism.This is mainly due to the social system at that time,as well as the combined effects of the Eight legged Essay on the destruction of poetry writing techniques and atmosphere,changes in social atmosphere,scholars'addiction to traditional literature,and the author's personal life projection.Based on the characteristics of Wu Jingzi's poetry in"Wenmu's Mountain House Collection",Wu's views on praising and criticizing poetry in"The Scholars"are respectively produced by his violation of social constraints and obedience to social environment.Through Wu's poetry,we can glimpse the living environment of Ming and Qing poetry under the imperial examination system.
