Fiscal resilience is an important safeguard for achieving national economic stability and security.Based on the logic of fiscal resilience development,the paper constructed its evaluation index system.The level of local fiscal resilience is measured by using Chinese provincial and urban area panel data from 2001-2021,combined with DEA and panel entropy weighting method,and finally,the Kernel density estimation method is used to conduct the evaluation study.The study found that the overall level of local fiscal resilience is low,showing an inverted"U"-shaped trend;The average level of local fiscal resilience is spatially"high in the east and low in the west",with obvious heterogeneity;Local fiscal resilience is broadly consistent with expenditure efficiency performance.The paper combines the current economic development reality,and puts forward the optimization suggestions of local fiscal resilience,to promote the high-quality development of the economy.
