Monitoring and Analysis of Veterinary Drug Residues and Dietary Exposure Risk Assessment of Chicken and Eggs in some Districts and Counties of Chongqing
Objective:To investigate the residues of 15 veterinary drugs in chicken and egg products in some areas of Chongqing, and to assess the health risk of human intake.Method:A total of 107 chicken and egg samples were randomly selected from supermarkets and farmers'markets in 17 districts and counties of Chongqing from 2021 to 2023.Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS)was used to determine the contents of 6 quinolones,2 tetracyclines,1 nitroimidazole,2 amide alcohol antibiotics and 4 coccidiasis drugs in chicken and eggs.According to the dietary consumption of residents in Chongqing, the point assessment method and food safety index method was used to assess the exposure risk of veterinary drugs in chicken and eggs.Result:The detection rate of veterinary drug residues in 76 egg samples was 25.00%(19/76),and the unqualified rate was 2.63%(2/76).The detection rate of veterinary drug residues in chicken samples was 70.97%(22/31),and the unqualified rate was 0%(0/31).The average values of food safety index of eggs and chicken with high detection rate of doxycycline were 0.000 293 and 0.000 119,respectively,and the maximum values were 0.002 710 and 0.001 770,respectively,which were lower than 1.Conclusion:Veterinary drug residues were detected in chicken and eggs in some districts and counties of Chongqing to varying degrees, and some samples were unqualified, but the overall risk was low and the health hazard was within the acceptable range.
