Optimization of Ultrasonic Assisted Extraction Process for Polyphenols in Sea-Buckthorn Leaves by Response Surface Methodology
This research tasked solid-liquid ratio, ethanol concentration, ultrasound power and ultrasound time as research factors. On the basis of conducting single factor experiments, response surface methodology was used to explore the optimal process conditions for ultrasound assisted extraction of polyphenols from sea-buckthorn leaves.Research had found that the extraction process parameters for obtaining the highest yield of sea-buckthorn leaf polyphenols were solid-liquid ratio of 1 ∶ 7.5,ethanol concentration of 75%,ultrasonic power of 492 W,and ultrasonic time of 70 minutes.Under these process conditions, the actual yield of sea-buckthorn leaf polyphenols was 19.55%.
