Rapid Determination of Cinnamaldehyde in Fruits Using Matrix Assisted Solid-Phase Extraction GC-MS Method
A gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method was established for the determination of cinnamaldehyde in fruits. After the sample was extracted with ethyl acetate, the supernatant was purified with 50 mg PSA and 20 mg GCB,separated by DB-5ms quartz capillary column(30 m×0.32 mm,0.25 μm),and determined by GC-MS.The results showed that cinnamaldehyde had a good linear relationship between 25 μg·L-1 and 500 μg·L-1,with a correlation coefficient r2 of 0.999 5.The detection limit of the method for apples, bananas, and grapes is 20 μg·kg-1,and the quantitative limit of the method is 50 μg·kg-1.The recovery rate of spiking is 84.2%to 101.0%,and the relative standard deviation is 6.52%to 8.77%.This method has accurate quantification, and both sensitivity and precision can meet the requirements for the determination of cinnamaldehyde in fruits.
