Contamination Characteristics and Preliminary Exposure Risk Assessment of Acrylamide in Infant Formula Sold in Hunan Province in 2023
Objective:To investigate acrylamide contamination in infant formula sold in Hunan province in 2023,and assess the acrylamide exposure risk in 0 to 36 months old infants from formula.Method:A total of 23 samples of infant formula were randomly collected, the content of acrylamide in the samples was determined by stable isotope dilution with high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, and the acrylamide exposure of 0 to 36 months infants was calculated according to the recommended consumption of infant formula.Result:The detection rate of acrylamide was 60.9%(limit of detection is 0.3 μg·kg-1),the average content was 2.4±2.4 μg·kg-1,the daily intake acrylamide of infant formula was 0.021 to 0.025 μg·kg-1 bw,and the margin of exposure was higher than 10 000.Conclusion:Acrylamide in infant formulas sold in Hunan province in 2023 were less polluted and their intake was within the safe range.
