Food safety is related to the development of industries and social stability.In order to understand and master the level of food safety in Jiangsu province,this article analyzes the results of food safety supervision and sampling in a certain city in Jiangsu province in 2023.The results showed that in 2023,a total of 2 820 batches of food safety supervision and sampling were conducted in a certain city in Jiangsu province,covering all streets in the jurisdiction,including multiple formats in production,circulation,and catering,involving 30 major categories of food.39 batches of unqualified samples are involved in four major food categories:vegetable products,fried food and nut products,catering utensils,and edible agricultural products.The main problems are concentrated in the excessive use of food additives,microbial contamination,pesticide residue pollution,etc.The regulatory authorities can further strengthen supervision and precise sampling,fully play the role of food safety supervision and sampling.
